In June 2023, four adults with intellectual disabilities moved into apartments in The Wellington, a new apartment building in uptown Saint John. In 2025, we more than doubled this program with five new members. For some, this is the first time in their lives they have a place to call their own.

L’Arche Saint John is there to guide and support them as they forge a new chapter of their lives. Our supported independent living program is designed to help develop the skills needed to succeed in living independently.

Launched in partnership with Saint John Non Profit Housing, the Department of Social Development and Inclusion NB, L’Arche Connects is uniquely and authentically L’Arche. Today, we are proud to have grown in partnership with Steepleview Developments Inc. and Housing Alternatives.
