This Tuesday, Nov. 28 is GivingTuesday! Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday is the global day of giving back.
On GivingTuesday, you'll hear from a lot of your favourite non-profits and charities – including us here at L'Arche Saint John.
Every year, we rely on the generosity of donors like you to raise 50 per cent of our annual budget to support adults with intellectual disabilities at McKim House, Creative Connections and our new program, L'Arche Connects. GivingTuesday is an important day to help make this possible.
This GivingTuesday, our goal is to raise $10,000 and welcome 10 new monthly donors to our circle of support.
Can we rely on your help to get there?
Here are three tangible ways you can support L'Arche Saint John on GivingTuesday:
1. Make a one-time donation to help us reach $10,000!
Your donation is crucial to our mission of making known the gifts and contributions of adults with intellectual disabilities in our society. Join our community of donors to help make the L’Arche mission come to life.
2. Join our circle of support as a monthly donor.
Monthly gifts help us plan for growth and focus our resources on where they’re needed most. When you become a monthly donor, it provides stability to our community which helps us serve our members better now and into the future.
If 10 donors set up a monthly gift of $15, that adds up to $1,800 per year! Spreading your donation across the year can be a small commitment each month, but it has a huge impact on our community.
